Star Wars Audio Dramas ....

Post by HAWK on Sun Feb 22, 2015 11:12 am

Or what they call audio books, most of us are well aware that after all the movies there was a string of books released telling stories or continuing stories from the movies, a lot of the books are also stories in between each film, now iv got all the radio dramas or audio books and these things are amazing to listen to, in most cases its the original actors, same music and sound effects. now iv listened to the trilogy through and there's more detail, The Star Wars audio book runs for 5 hours or so because of content that was not used in the movie and was cut out, these things are great just to sit and relax and imagine and wounder.

bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce

Has you can see the play time is huge because theres more content and action then what you see in the movie, trust me guys these audio dramas are amazing but remember if you want to listen to the entire audio book make a note where you ended the session, if you use a YouTube download program then grab it and listen to it at your own leisure .... Enjoy Cool

I don't really listen to audiobooks, but I do read comics. For Star Wars I would recommend the Infinities Omnibus. It is like a 'what if' for the OT. The one for Empire Strikes Back is shit, but the other two are great.
Does anyone else read comics?

It's really sad that Disney made most of this non-canon. Sad

i used to years ago livr and spent all my money buying them, i loved going to bed at night reading them with my torch and just slipping away into the adventure and then to sleep .... the audio books are the same except someone else is reading for you but again you use the imagination. Very Happy .... iv no idea what happened to my comic collection.

Yep ... just imagine the amount of amazing Star Wars films they could make using these books that tell stories in between the movies, one of my favorites is shadows of the empire and then death troopers. Cool
